The Confession: “Jesus is LORD” …means so much more than we know! It expresses the CONTENT of true and saving faith and the CONDUCT of true and saving faith… JESUS IS my LORD! We have lost the truth of Jesus right to the lives of those who claim Him as Savior. We cannot parse Jesus into Savior for me and Lord for others. He IS LORD and you cannot have Him unless you embrace ALL of Him… God, Savior, and LORD. The inconvenient truth, understood in the 1st century, is that Jesus is the benevolent Master over His servants… His obedient slaves…
